Open Thread: Israel vs. Hezbollah

I want to open just a general discussion on this topic. Partly its because I want to get more reader commentary going on here. But I also would like to get a really good discussion going on this topic (dispite my own obvious leanings on this issue I do like to hear other sides).

I only have a few rules. I reserve the right to eliminate any comment. No attacking posters, only counter what they post. Stick with the topic at hand.

So here's the starting question:
What is you opinion of what is going on in Israel and the surrounding area?
