Chavez: U.S. support for Israel to lead to Holocaust

Everybody's favorite idiot, Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, is trying to make himself relevant in the Israeli situation. Nothing new though in what he's saying. He's basically saying that because the US is supporting Israel's right to defend itself that we are putting the world on towards another "Holocaust".

He claims that "It's the empire (referring the US) that armed and supported the abuses of the Israeli elite, which has invaded, abused and defied the United Nations for a long time."

Here's a question for you Hugo. What about UN resolution 1559 that called for the disarmament of the terrorist group Hezbollah two years ago?

As usual, President Chavez is correct. By no stretch of the imagination can the Israeli massacres be deemed proportionate (one IDF occupation soldier taken prisoner in Gaza = IDF murdering at least 29 Palestinians [mostly women & children] so far; two IDF soldiers taken prisoner in Lebanon = more than 59 Lebanese [mostly civilians] butchered). By all accounts, Israel is only allowed to ignore international law, common decency, and butcher with impunity because of U.S. protection.

President Chavez, as usual, has hit the nail on the head.

Funny that you respect a man who claims that the US is trying to invade Venezuela every time he wants to take attension off something (without ever providing any evidence by the way).
Funny that you respect a man who removed judges in his country from their posts without consulting other branches of his government.
Funny that you respect a man that has been accused of human rights violations by Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.
